Scheduled

To ensure the long-term stability and performance of the APM system in the US0 realm, we will be performing urgent maintenance to repartition the APM Span Firehose. This action is necessary to address recurring performance degradation caused by high traffic volume and to prevent future service interruptions.

During this three-hour window, users may experience the following temporary impacts on APM data:

Trace Data: Traces may appear fragmented or incomplete for a short duration.
Metrics Accuracy: Trace-based metrics (including trace counts) may reflect temporary inaccuracies, such as double-counting or missing spans.
Search and Tags: Full-trace search functionality may not yield results for compound criteria, and the extraction of global/service tags may be temporarily incorrect.
Data Latency: You may observe a temporary processing lag of approximately 5–10 minutes for incoming data.
Unaffected Services: Please note that span-based MMS (Metric-per-Span) will remain fully operational and unaffected by this maintenance.

We apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. Our engineering team is taking these steps to ensure a more reliable and performant experience moving forward. No action is required on your part.
